London post-punk trio bar italia are releasing a brand new album, The Twits, their second album of 2023, on November 3 by way of Matador. Now they’ve shared its third single, “worlds best emoter,” by way of a music video. Watch it under, adopted by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Beforehand bar italia shared the album’s first single, “my little tony,” by way of a music video. “My little tony” was one among our Songs of the Week. Then they shared its second single, “Jelsy,” by way of a music video. It was #1 on our Songs of the Week listing.
The Twits rapidly follows Tracey Denim, a brand new album the band launched in Might by way of Matador (it was the band’s first for the long-lasting label).
The band options Nina Cristante, Jezmi Tarik Fehmi, and Sam Fenton. The trio recorded the album over the course of eight weeks, beginning in February 2023. They recorded in a makeshift house studio in Mallorca, Spain. Marta Salogni blended the album.
Previous to Tracey Denim, the band launched two albums, an EP, and a number of other singles over the past two years on Dean Blunt’s World Music label.
