Philadelphia’s Golden Apples began off as frontman Russell Edling’s solo challenge in 2016. Within the time since then, Golden Apples have put out a lot of music and gelled right into a full-on band, that includes members of fellow Philly teams like Cave Individuals, Petal, and Yr Of Glad. It’s imperfect, it’s unpredictable, however as Daniel Johnston put it, real love will discover you in the long run.
