Edsel have introduced a significant boxset devoted to the work of one of many world’s most acclaimed document producers, titled Produced By Tony Visconti. The 6CD/6LP/2LP units are the primary definitive retrospectives of the legendary Brooklyn-born maestro.

Visconti has curated the 77-track (with 60 & 14 on vinyl) compilation and it options world-famous materials from David Bowie, T.Rex, U2, Joe Cocker and lots of extra, alongside lesser-known gems from the likes of The Good, The Unhealthy & The Queen, Skinny Lizzy, The Radiators, Zaine Griff, Mild Big, Manic Road Preachers and extra from Tony’s 50 years of manufacturing credit.

Of the set, Tony says, “This boxset covers 5 and a half a long time of my efforts within the artwork of constructing iconic recordings. A few of it’s acquainted and a few can have a eureka second, ‘I didn’t know Visconti produced that one!’”

Broadly recognised as probably the most essential producers of the rock and pop age, Tony has helped create numerous traditional musical moments and continues to encourage generations of musicians and producers.

In September 2016, Kingston College opened Visconti Studio, a tape-based recording studio in partnership with Visconti, the British Library and the Science Museum.

Produced By Tony Visconti will be launched in strictly restricted version signed deluxe 4CD and 6LP boxsets and commonplace 4CD and 2LP units.

Grammy-winning creatives Studio Barnbrook have designed the art work. The 4CD set is housed in a deluxe 80-page casebound guide and the 6LP set is housed in a deluxe slipcase with a 60-page (12×12) booklet, with beforehand unseen pictures, an introduction by Tony, intensive track-by-track liner notes by writer and journalist Mark Paytress (together with track-by-track commentaries by Tony), and tributes from a number of featured artists.

The audio for the units has been mastered by Phil Kinrade at AIR Mastering and personally permitted by Tony.
