And Orlando comes and meets us, and it is Corey Pierce from GOD FORBID. And so we’re there all getting loaded. And at a sure level, it was simply, like, ‘Man, we obtained the band proper right here, man. Why do not we do one thing? Why do not we write music collectively?’ And we’re all, ‘Yeah, let’s do.’ After which the following day, we’re type of hung over, going, ‘Hey, man, did we imply it? Did we imply that? Yeah, let’s have a look at can occur.’ And I got here again [to the East Coast]. I neglect what I used to be doing once I got here again. And me and Orlando obtained collectively and we simply obtained within the room and began throwing riffs at one another and got here up with, like, a dozen or so riffs that he took again. And you understand Mikey O — he is obtained his personal studio, and he will get behind one thing. And he is obtained such an important ear. He is an exceptional guitar participant. And he is obtained an important ear for music and melody. So he begins placing the shit collectively. And we’re, like, Rattling, that is fucking cool.’ … After which so we’re pondering, it is, like, all proper, nicely, bass participant and vocalists. Vocalists, who would you guys need? Let’s make our checklist. Begin on the high.’ After which bang, bang, bang. All on the high was ‘John Bush‘, ‘John Bush‘, ‘John Bush‘. We’re, like, ‘Hmm.’ I stated I do know him from [playing together in] METAL ALLEGIANCE. We broed down just a little bit — we talked sports activities and stuff — so I stated, I do know him sufficient to name him up and ask him. So I did.
