Final summer time, Baltimore pop-punk trio Pinkshift launched their debut album Love Me Ceaselessly, and so they rapidly adopted up with April’s single “to me.” Now, Pinkshift have introduced a brand new EP, suraksha, out October 13 through Hopeless Data. It options “to me,” plus a brand new single: “dwelling.”

The EP title is definitely a Hindi phrase borrowed from Sanskrit — it means “safety” or “safety.” “I grew up listening to Bollywood and Indian classical music would spherical out the songs completely,” says singer Ashrita Kumar. “Going into the studio, the one factor on my thoughts was my household, and making these songs was distinctive as a result of in my head I used to be making it for them.”
