Premiere: Ovef Ow Share New Monitor “MAD”

Over the previous few years, Chicago outfit Ovef Ow have been increase a following of their native indie scene with their offbeat tackle submit punk and artwork rock. The band debuted in 2017 with their EP, Working, adopted by their 2019 EP, Crash the Occasion. Subsequent month, the band are set to return with their first full-length album, Vs. The Worm, and so they’ve already shared the album’s lead single, “Fauxtography.” At the moment, they’re again with one other new monitor, “MAD,” premiering with Below the Radar.

The band says of the monitor and accompanying video, “We made this video from footage we took on our final tour as we flew in our little spaceship across the Midwest. ‘MAD’ as a track is in regards to the ongoing existential disaster of the specter of nuclear conflict and the absurd doctrine of ‘mutually assured destruction’ that has saved us from the entire annihilation of humanity (up to now).
