“In Instances New Roman…“, Queens Of The Stone Age‘s first studio album since 2017, has formally opened at #9 on the Billboard 200. The file shifted a wholesome 40,000 album-equivalent items amid its first week on the charts—36,000 of which have been attributed to album gross sales.

The file is the band’s fourth album to open within the high ten of the Billboard 200. Its predecessor, “Villains“, opened at #3 on the Billboard 200, shifting 73,000 album-equivalent items.

Whereas 2013’s “…Like Clockwork” stays their highest charting album to this point, having opened at #1, it’s 2002’s “Songs For The Deaf” which at present stands because the alt rock group’s most commercially profitable, having gone gold in the USA again in January of 2003.
