Leeds band Shaene, self-described lo-fi/emo, seamlessly channel an emotive mix of shoegaze on a superb debut, which exorcises immensely relatable but distinctive ruminations on despair and trans struggles. A debut album follows in September.

I first skilled the bruising emotion, heart-rending and delightful vocals, and song-writing excellence of Shaene in hometown, progressive venue Wharf Chambers.
