Shoegaze stars Journey get set to launch seventh album Interaction 

Journey have introduced particulars of their seventh studio album, Interaction. Launched on 29 March by way of Wichita Recordings / PIAS, the brand new document is the Oxford 4 piece’s third since reforming in 2014.

Produced by the band with Richie Kennedy and blended by Claudius Mittendorfer, the document attracts inspiration from bands akin to Tears For Fears, Discuss Discuss and early U2.

Shaking off the previous

Guitarist and singer, Andy Bell, stated: “This album has taken a very long time to make, and has seen the band undergo numerous ups and downs; perhaps essentially the most of any Journey album. “Peace Signal  began life as a jam recorded at Marks’ OX4 studio, in early 2021,” continues Bell. “We referred to as it ‘Berlin’ and initially it featured Loz on drums, Steve on bass and myself on a prophet 5 synth. Accomplished by Mark Gardener (guitar and vocals), Laurence “Loz” Colbert (drums) and Steve Queralt (bass), Journey  shaped in Oxford in 1988. Their debut album, Nowhere, was launched by Creation Data in 1990 and is thought to be a seminal ‘shoegaze’ traditional.
