Southampton band Slackrr have shared their third full-length album, ‘Set The Evening On Fireplace’.

That includes the likes of current single ‘This Time’ and emotive lead single ‘Holding On’, the album was recorded at The Clubhouse in Bournemouth.

‘Set The Evening On Fireplace’ is the end result of a productive few years for the band, who first shaped in 2018. 

Their debut album ‘Time, It Waits For No One’ arrived in 2021, adopted by their 2022 sophomore album ‘A Place That Feels Like Dwelling’. 

In 2022 the band – which consists of additionally signed with Misplaced Music Collective, run by Fueled By Ramen founder and former Much less Than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello.

Talking concerning the elation of releasing their third LP, and explaining the way it all got here collectively, the band have stated:

“We’re so enthusiastic about our album being launched into the world. The album was written in late 2022 to early 2023 simply after we acquired again from a relentless touring schedule of membership dates and festivals and our first tour in America. 

“This album has turned out to be our most private and reflective album so far. We’ve had a whole lot of private losses inside the band whereas attempting to write down and report, and this modified the path of a whole lot of the songs and the lyrics.
