The Smile Share Eight-Minute New Track “Bending Hectic”
North American Tour Kicks Off Tomorrow

The Smile (Radiohead’s Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, and Sons of Kemet’s Tom Skinner) have launched a brand new track, the eight-minute “Bending Hectic,” through XL. The band are additionally set to embark on a summer time tour tomorrow. Hearken to the track beneath adopted by cowl art work and upcoming tour dates.
That is The Smile’s first new music in 2023, following their 2022 debut A Mild For Attracting Consideration, which made our high 100 Albums of 2022. “Bending Hectic” was produced by Sam Petts-Davies with string by the London Modern Orchestra. The track was first debuted by The Smile throughout their Montreux Jazz Competition look in 2022.
The Smile beforehand launched a vinyl solely EP of Europe: Dwell Recordings 2022.
