Toronto Symphony Orchestra/Augustin Hadelich/Elim Chan

For causes unknown, the Canadian premiere of Wynton Marsalis’s Violin Concerto by Nicola Benedetti has been changed by Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with Augustin Hadelich within the solo position. Hong Kong-born Elim Chan (principal conductor of the Antwerp Symphony and principal visitor of the Royal Scottish Nationwide Orchestra) stays on the rostrum for Brahms’s Second Symphony.
