Later this yr, Montreal-based indie singer/songwriter Laurence-Anne is ready to share her third full-length album, Oniromancie, due out September eighth through Bonsound. The file builds on the haunting songwriting of her 2021 album, Musivision, diving fully into the world of hypnotic dream pop with ethereal synth textures, digital rhythms, and hazy layers of results. As Laurence-Anne describes, the file was impressed by nocturnal dreamscapes and their potential to shift from peaceable to terrifying in moments.

Laurence-Anne has already shared a pair of recent singles from the file, “Polymorphe” and “Politesse.” Immediately, she’s again with one other new monitor, “Flores,” premiering with Below the Radar.

Her newest file sees Laurence-Anne singing in English, French, and Spanish. She has already shared two singles sung in French, however “Flores” is her second music written totally in Spanish, initially composed in the course of the writing course of for Musivision. The monitor shades Laurence-Anne in shimmering synths arpeggios, languid rhythms, and subtly catchy melodies, crafting a lush and hypnotic soundscape. Her vocals provide a dreamy centerpoint for the monitor, whereas her lyrics really feel like a celestial chant, repeating time and again above the honeyed grooves of the bassline.

Laurence-Anne says of the monitor, “‘Flores’ is about empowerment. The second whenever you face your self within the mirror and name your internal power to provide the braveness to behave, to get out of poisonous conditions. The fixed battle between your two selves, the emotional and the rational.”

Try the music and accompanying visualizer under. Omniromancie is due out in all places on September eighth through Bonsound.
